You don’t know this

You want to know what was the biggest mistake I made when I first got started?

It wasn’t the music, or the mixing. It wasn’t even the mastering….

It was the idea that I knew it all.

Sure thing I can do this, I said to myself In my early days as a stock music composer… I’ve been playing the guitar since I was 13 years old (now I am 46).

I’ve been in bands, worked in recording studios, studied sound engineering and I have been involved in music for most of my adult life. I am sure I can write and produce stock music and start selling it online.

It wasn’t until I got my first rejection that I was humbled and reminded that there’s a lot to learn in order for me to be successful.

If you are like me, and you have experienced the wear and tear of life, then you know that you don’t know it all.

There’s always room for improvement and growth. The learning never stops.
