Now is the right time to work more

The world has changed so much in the past few weeks. With so much going on it’s easy to be paralyzed by fear.

I’ve decided to make the best out of this lockdown and pandemic by taking action and by being inspired by Isaac Newton’s story.

The bubonic ‘Great Plague’ of 1665–6 was the worst outbreak of plague in England. Forcing everyone to go on lockdown.

Newton left Cambridge and went back home to his mother to escape the plague. And in that time he basically created modern mathematics, mechanics and optics.

It is said that Newton spend 20 months studying and working on his theories without worrying about the plague.

There are many lessons to learn from Newton’s story and it’s not about mathematics or optics but more about what we are going to do during this lock-down.
