How to license your music-3 steps to get started

If you are new to music licensing and don’t know where to start, or you are not sure if your music is ready for licensing, then you are not alone.

Music licensing can be intimidating for anyone that is starting out.

When you search in Google “How to license your music for TV and Film?” the amount of information out there is overwhelming.

And to make matters worse, everybody is telling you that you need to “build relationships” and make “connections” with music supervisors and library owners.

Or that you need to attend a music licensing summit or sync licensing conference and network if you want to be successful.

Sure, the networking and connections will help, but is it the determining factor for success? What if you don’t live in LA or New York? and you live in Europe like I do.

Don’t get me wrong, I would love to travel to the USA and attend one of those music licensing conferences and summits, but I ain’t gonna let that stop me from getting started in music licensing.

And besides that, the best part of being a producer of music for licensing, is that you can compose your music with a laptop in your home studio, work remotely and all you really need is an internet connection.

In this video I show you the easiest way to get started in music licensing.
